This booking entitles you to a one day beginners throwing masterclass, and for your work to be dried, busque fired, dip-glazed and glost fired after the session. 
 
The masterclass will run from 10am - 2.30pm.  Your experienced tutor will  provide you with a comprehensive introduction to wheel thrown ceramics.  Throughout the day there will be demonstrations of how to prepare clay, how to master centering, opening your pots and pulling up the walls.  We will cover the methods used to create a  range of pottery forms and you have plenty of time to have a go at making your own pottery.
 
Your pottery will be available for collection 3 weeks after the course. During term time we are open for collections each Wednesday morning (10am - 12noon), Thursday afternoons (2-4pm) and Thursday evenings (6.30 - 8.30pm). Please call in at any of these times to collect your work. 
 
As there will only be a maximum of 4 students per masterclass you will have plenty of one-to-one tuition. 
 
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, but please bring your own lunch.
 
Cancellation Policy: As this is a one-off course it is not possible to offer a refund or exchange if you are unable to attend.  Please consider finding someone else to take your place, just inform us of the name change before the day.
