Each session is divided into two parts. during the first hour, Jeni will demonstrate the essential throwing techniques, including how to centre your clay, open your pot, pull up the walls and begin creating a variety of forms.
The second hour is dedicated to practice, giving you the opportunity to put what you've learnt into action, develop your technique and build confidence at your own pace. This relaxed, focused time allows you you embed your knowledge through repetition and experimentation. All clay and firings is included in the price.
The course begins as a 4-week introduction, giving you a solid foundation in wheel throwing, If you're enjoying your throwing journey and would like to continue developing your skills, the course can be extended beyond the initial four weeks.
