This voucher entitles you to a weekly course of TWO x 2 HOUR SESSIONS to introduce you to throwing and enable you to have a go at the complete process of making your own wheel-thrown pottery.
The first lesson will provide you with a basic understanding of the clay, centring and throwing process and you will have plenty of time to make your own pottery with an experienced ceramic artist on hand to guide you and provide demonstrations. During the second week you will develop your skills further and learn how to produce a range of forms. After the course your work will be fired and dip glazed for you, alternatively you can arrange an additional session to glaze your own work.

Please note that due to the nature of the course, unfortunately, if you miss a session, it will not be possible to reschedule.
Your pottery will be available for collection 3 weeks after the course. During term time we are at the studio each Wednesday morning (10am - 12noon), Thursday afternoon (2-4pm) and Thursday evening (6.30-8.30pm). Please call in at any of these times to collect your pottery.
All materials are included. The course is booked individually, there will be a maximum of 3 students per session.
